BKCM LLC was founded by Brian Kelly in 2013, following his year-long foray into digital currency trading with Bitcoin. Since then, the company has been an active participant in the emerging digital currency ecosystem with its flagship hedge fund, and other opportunistic and strategic investments.
The Company operates four funds pursuant to an exemption from CPO registration under CFTC Regulation 4.13(a)(3), and is a Wyoming Exempt Reporting Advisor.
Separate from the funds, the BKCM occasionally invests in high-quality projects focused on the mainstream adoption of digital currencies. Investments include tokens and equity in companies building base layer protocols, second layer applications, and trading-related infrastructure.
Brian Kelly is the CEO of BKCM LLC. He has twenty years plus experience trading in currencies, commodities, equities, and fixed income markets, and has been an active investor in the digital currency markets since 2012. He is a contributor for CNBC’s Fast Money and is the author of The Bitcoin Big Bang: How Alternative Currencies Are About to Change the World.
